Scott MacDonald, aged 46, has died peacefully at Strathcarron Hospice, leaving behind his loving family, friends and many people whose lives he touched through his charitable work and dedication to running.

Scott passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.

He was a beloved husband to Geodine and a loving father to Rohan. He was also a much-loved son, brother and uncle, as well as a dear friend to many who knew him.

Beyond his family life, Scott was remembered as an inspiration to many through his commitment to running and the support he gave to various charitable causes. His contributions helped raise awareness and support for charities while inspiring others through his determination and generosity.

His family is now preparing to celebrate his life and honor the memories he created with those closest to him.

Funeral Arrangements

A service of celebration for Scott MacDonald will take place at Stirlingshire Crematorium on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 2:30 p.m.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the service and come together to remember Scott and celebrate his life.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Geodine, son Rohan, family members, friends, fellow runners and the many people who were inspired by his charitable efforts.
