Harry Colbert Obituary, Death – St Patrick’s College Community Mourns Class of 2021 Member

The St Patrick’s College community in Brisbane is mourning the death of Harry Colbert, a former student and member of O’Rourke House who remained remembered as a valued part of the College family.

Harry, who graduated as a member of the Class of 2021, is being mourned by former classmates, teachers, friends and members of the wider St Patrick’s College community following his passing.

During his years at St Patrick’s College, Harry was actively involved in school life. He took part in tennis, rugby and cricket, forming connections and memories through the sporting activities that were an important part of his time at the College.

Beyond sport, Harry also contributed to the community through his involvement with the Paddy’s Van Program. His participation reflected his willingness to give his time in support of others and to play a role in the broader life of the College.

Family and friends remember Harry

St Patrick’s College has offered its deepest thoughts and prayers to Harry’s family and everyone affected by his death.

Among those being remembered alongside Harry are his brothers, Jack, a member of the Class of 2017, and Ben, who graduated with the Class of 2018. Friends, former classmates and staff have also joined the College community in mourning his loss.

Funeral arrangements

Harry’s funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Friday, September 11, at the Lakeview Chapel at Albany Creek Memorial Park, 400 Albany Creek Road, Bridgeman Downs.

In accordance with Harry’s wishes, mourners attending the service have been invited to wear colourful clothing, adding a personal and meaningful element to the farewell.

As the St Patrick’s College community prepares to remember Harry and say goodbye, the College has also shared a traditional prayer for the departed, expressing the hope that he may have eternal rest and perpetual light.

Harry Colbert will be remembered by the St Patrick’s College community for the role he played in College life, his involvement in sport and his contribution to the Paddy’s Van Program. His memory will continue to remain part of the O’Rourke House and St Patrick’s College family.
